Yes it does! If you need info about the Borders or the islands, @FionaDrane should be one of your resources. #ScotlandHour https://t.co/jPABq8Awk9
I missed the museums and galleries during lockdown. Once they opened I’ve been really busy curating my first exhibition. I must make time to visit this exhibition: https://t.co/xNp2zmBI28 #ScotlandHour #atthepegs https://t.co/EHcQrfrGln

Q3. What do Scottish cities and towns have to offer, that others don’t? #ScotlandHour
@DundeeCulture @andybfaedundee @tourismstandrew
A3. It’s something difficult to put into words that Scottish people themselves are usually responsible for. There’s a warmth, even in the coldest months of the year that I always feel when I’m visiting. #ScotlandHour
A3. What an incredible view from one heritage site to another - who can name this historic city in the heart of Scotland?

A3. Dundee may be small but it has a lot to offer. Because of the many things that make this city great. There is a lot you can do wh ich you can’t get in any other cities. The regeneration of the waterfront plays a huge factor in this too. #ScotlandHour
replying to @DundeeCulture 🎓 Dundee is home to two incredible universities: the University of Dundee & Abertay. The University of Dundee was recently ranked 5th in the world for climate action and Abertay was again named the best university in Europe to study computer games design. #ScotlandHour
replying to @DundeeCulture 🌲 Dundee is Scotland's greenest city and there is many parks and green spaces. Dawson Park, Baxter Park, Lochee Park, Camperdown Park, Finlathen Park, Balgay Park, Victoria Park and Drumgeith Park just to name a few. #ScotlandHour
replying to @DundeeCulture 🌳 You can go and visit Slessor Gardens and the recently opened Waterfront Place and get yourself an ice cream as you sit on the sun loungers at the urban beach. This new part to Dundee's waterfront is bringing back the green spaces the city once had. #ScotlandHour
replying to @DundeeCulture 🎼 And let's not forget Magdalen Green, Dundee's oldest park. It is home to our iconic bandstand and has a great view of the Tay Rail Bridge and the Tay. It is in Riverside which is one of my personal favourite places in Dundee. #ScotlandHour
replying to @DundeeCulture 😘 Going on to visitor attractions and Dundee is the only city in Scotland to have a design museum and be the only city in the UK to be a UNESCO City of Design. The V&A Dundee opened in 2018 and has welcomed thousands of visitors from across the world. #ScotlandHour
replying to @DundeeCulture 🇦🇶 Discovery Point is a special wee place which sits at the heart of the city's waterfront. It was built in 1993 to detail the journey of the RRS Discovery from leaving Dundee in 1901 to the Antarctic on several expeditions. #ScotlandHour
replying to @DundeeCulture 🧵 Verdant Works, as mentioned, is the UK's only jute museum. Go and visit the High Mill, it was recently renovated in 2014 and it looks absolutely stunning! #ScotlandHour
replying to @DundeeCulture 🦄 The Frigate Unicorn is a little gem tucked in the city's Victoria Dock. Although it can be overshadowed by the Discovery, the Unicorn is one of the best additions we have in the city. It is one of the oldest surviving ships built in the world. #ScotlandHour

replying to @DundeeCulture 🌠 Although temporarily closed, a visit to Mills Observatory is a definite must. The first purpose built observatory in the UK has a lot to offer and it is a very special and integral part to Dundee's link with science. #ScotlandHour

replying to @DundeeCulture 🎨 The DCA is an amazing addition to Dundee's cultural scene. Opened in 1999, it lays on the site of a former skatepark but it is now a hub of creative spaces, two cinemas and an amazing cafe which serves some delicious cake! #ScotlandHour
