ScotlandHour
Q3. Why do you love #ScotlandHour? What’s makes it special and perhaps different from other chats?
A3. Always loved finding out about places to visit or events on via #ScotlandHour. Persistence and dedication from all the volunteers made it a useful place to gather.
A3. I love that #ScotlandHour keeps me connected to #Scotland & my Scottish friends there + allows me to help support Scottish people + tourism businesses. I think it’s special because it’s a non-commercial, community-run effort. https://t.co/08wT6278un
A3: #ScotlandHour is special because it gives us an opportunity to share our love for everything Scottish! #Scotland is a unique spot on the map that is bursting at the seams with spectacular things to see and experience. #Orkney #Shetland
A3. @Bairdtravels had an idea and that idea has been going for ten years now and is growing as we move post covid and all of us who contribute are doing our part to promote Scotland. #ScotlandHour
A3: I❤️#Scotlandhour because it's REAL. You get real info/opinions from real people. It's also welcoming. Can't tell you how many now very dear friends in Scotland I first met right here on #Scotlandhour.
A3 I love how #Scotlandhour has connected so many people not only with #Scotland but also each other from across the globe! These include @Bairdtravels himself
@travelwithakilt @TheCastleHunter @ScotAdventures @TheChaoticScot @FunkyEllas @GlenMoyer1 and many many more 🏴
A3 For me it is meeting so many new people and learning about parts of Scotland that I never knew about!
#ScotlandHour!
The photo is the Falkirk Wheel - and it says to me that with a little effort you can get a lot out of it!
(Energy to boil a kettle is same as to spin wheel)

A3: #Scotlandhour was really the first Scottish tourism themed social media chat that opened up the space for everyone to shout about the amazing small & not so small things going on all over the country. It put many names on the map for the first time too

A3 Why do I love #ScotlandHour - probably because it's how I've ended up with a whole other side to my twitter which isn't just politics and women's rights. Now I have the sea and eagles and people in vans as well. And I'm fairly sure I could find a friend if I bought a house.
