A5 I think supporting local communities is mainly about buying local and not driving slowly on the single track roads. Stop it. Pull over. Please. There are signs and everything. #scotlandhour
A6: Sweetheart Abbey in @HereScotland. This ruin has a very, er, Scottish sense of romance. Lady Devorgilla missed her late husband, so she carried his embalmed heart around her neck for decades. I think it’s an aww ❤️, but can understand a 🤢 Wha’s like us indeed? #scotlandhour
A5 #Scotlandhour Supporting local #Scotland businesses: as I write a lot about music I may be more aware than some that you can support local from outwith Scotland -- buy direct from musicians or through @Bandcamp for example. Businesses of many sorts ship.
A6. Can’t wait to be back on Skye with “my good cameras” to replace these 2012 iPhone-era photos of Kilt Rock, Sligachan & more. It’s a cliché tourist choice, but it’s also where my ❤️ was deeply lost to Scotland forever. So I need better photos! #ScotlandHour https://t.co/hKuKQxldNQ
replying to @GlenMoyer1 @GlenMoyer1 That sounds interesting. Why not give a shout out to your blogger friends. ^Sharon #ScotlandHour
#ScotlandHour A6: If one place has captured my imagination more than any other this past year, it's the Dwarfie Stane in Hoy, Orkney.
One massive stone hollowed out by Neolithic hands, it sits at the foot of the Dwarfie Hamars near Trowie Glen, places laden with lore.

replying to @So_Scottish @So_Scottish #ScotlandHour A6 well ... I mean ... It'd be cool to revisit North Uist, and visit the western side this time. [Also the north edges of South Uist, which I only passed through in a bus].
A6 Having recently moved back to the Borders rediscovering all it’s wonderful places #ScotlandHour
A5 stay in B&Bs instead of chains. Shop and eat local. I especially like farm shops and small cafes. And buy the one or another souvenir as these businesses have especially suffered due to pandemic. #ScotlandHour
replying to @RTWBarefoot @So_Scottish #ScotlandHour A6 and more hiking around the west coast. I've walked through Ardnamurchan, but there's so many other little nooks and crannies to explore in the area.
A6 Coll is one of the few places I've been back to in Scotland - I like to go new places for new photos. But I love that little island and the ferry ride over in autumn as the sun comes up over Ardnamurchan. #scotlandhour
replying to @ScotlandHour @ScotlandHour A6. The novelty of being allowed back inside places still hasn’t warn off. I can’t wait to explore more castles, museums and other heritage sites. #ScotlandHour
A6 Working with @GreatTapestrySc has been a real career highlight. Looking forward to returning many times in 2022. #ScotlandHour Pics by @wilkophoto
