Q5. What comes first? Planning a trip for the destination and then including the UNESCO site, or vice versa? #TBINChat

A5: I've done both, but mostly plan the trip and then work in the UNESCO site while there. Some, like Sintra, were more on the radar because of being listed. #TBINChat

A5. We usually plan for the destination first but then again, heritage sites usually make a particular destination appealing in the first place :). #TBINchat

A5 Well, both. We choose to travel to places filled with World Heritage Sites (like our recent @BikeToursdotcom trip in Puglia), then we go out of our way to visit them. #TBINChat #VisitPuglia https://t.co/ajZN2zWwAZ

A5. Planning a trip for the destination and then including the UNESCO site comes first for us! It's fun to add the sites into our itinerary for exploring - such as Quebec City. https://t.co/fnIBxFv0OV @quebecregion #TBINChat

A5. I am not above planning a trip to a specific UNESCO site, but typically I will plan travel to a region and then add any nearby UNESCO sites to the itinerary, like when we added Þingvellir National Park to our Iceland Ring Road trip. #TBINChat #travel @Auto_Europe @hi_iceland

A5. It depends, I could see myself doing both. If I hadn't specifically planned for a UNESCO site I would absolutely research what's nearby after booking my trip. #TBINChat

OneRoadAtATime

A5 Trip destinations always come first, and then if we can work in a visit to a UNESCO site we'll make a plan to visit.

A5. I never plan to go to a destination because it has UNESCO sites. I just may happen to learn they are UNESCO designated once I get there. Q5. What comes first? Planning a trip for the destination and then including the UNESCO site, or vice versa? #TBINChat

ABritSoutherner

A5: Depends on the UNESCO site - for somewhere like @YellowstoneNPS or @YosemiteNPS, that is the destination! But otherwise for something like architectural, we would pick the destination & plan a visit accordingly! #TBINChat

A5 That depends on the UNESCO site. but probably trying to include it once destination is picked. #TBINchat

A5: It really goes hand in hand—on most of our cruises, we feature at least one UNESCO heritage site, so it’s easy to take care of both! We can’t get enough of the iconic UNESCO-designated Cologne Cathedral, one of Germany’s most esteemed Gothic masterpieces. #TBINChat
