A9 When we visited Budapest in 2017 we did not realize parts of the city are UNESCO including the banks of the Danube, but it's understandable given the history.

A9: We didn't realize we were checking out a UNESCO site when we stumbled upon the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. We were just wandering around town one day and saw this cool building, so went to check it out. Lucky for us!

A9: Yes. I just visited Monticello and UVA a few weeks ago and did not know that they were UNESCO sites. They do not visually advertise it much. I didn’t see any official sign such as in Europe.

#tbinchat A9 - Well this chat forced me to look up UNESCO Sites, so YES! I have learned so much today! We visited Elkmont in @GreatSmokyNPS in May. It was great fun! It rained all weekend, but we hiked anyway. That's what we do! Such an interesting area!
