Exploring Asia

Q3. When you travel in Asia, do prefer big mega-cities, small towns or remote villages? Have a favorite? #TBINChat

A3 I love a combination of big cities to see the many different attractions and then going to more remote or natural places of interest #TBINChat

A3: I love it all. I have just spent 3 weeks in Singapore and Borneo. We got the big city life of Singapore and the jungles of Borneo which was perfect. Asia makes it so easy to get a mix of it all. #TBINChat

replying to @TBINChat @TBINChat a3: I like to see all because you get a sense of a different reality with each. #TBINChat

A3. I love a mix of big cities as well as smaller towns and villages. I tend to prefer big cities but it depends on the destination. #TBINChat

A3. There's nothing like an Asian mega-city. We love them all especially Tokyo and Hong Kong. #TBINChat

A3. I generally prefer small towns and remote villages, but Asia has some pretty spectacular cities! Singapore being my absolute fav! #TBINChat

A3: When we travel, we always like to see a little bit of everything so we can check off the must-see attractions, but also find our own hidden treasures. Is anyone with us? #TBINChat

A3 I like them all. From a huge city like Bangkok, to a small village in the mountains in India...I'm very easy to please! #TBINChat

A3. I love the small towns and villages. Watching them go by from the comfort of a river cruise boat is a wonderful way to travel. #sceniccruises #TBINChat

A3: Small #villages offer a glimpse of authentic local life. Kampong Chhnang sits on the Tonlé Sap River. Its center is filled with Buddhist temples and tuk tuk drivers, while its lively dockside is a haven for fishermen, boats, stilt houses & floating villages nearby. #TBINChat

A3. We prefer all three, big mega-cities, small towns, and remote villages. Each of these areas have their own unique personalities and include different experiences allowing you to understand the culture and the locals. #ExploreUniword #TBINChat

A3: @TBINChat A major perk of taking a #cruise is that you have the opportunity to visit a variety of ports! Whether it be a bustling city like Singapore or a tranquil beach port like Nha Trang, Vietnam, you can experience destinations of all kinds in just one sailing! #TBINChat

A3 Big cities or small villages in Asia? It's hard to avoid the big cities! We love Bangkok, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei, Seoul. Consider the wide range of accommodations you can find in Japan: https://t.co/iVYExN7Rbt #TBINChat

A3 Most of my Asia travel has been to resorts in Thailand and Bali, but when we went to Vietnam last year I loved the bustle of Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. Hanoi was a particular favorite - we walked miles peering into shops and down laneways #TBINChat

A3. I believe first-time visitors to Asia need to experience the mega-cities, but as roadtrippers and river-cruisers, we prefer traveling the backroads and backwaters to experience off-the-beaten-path local flavor in remote villages. https://t.co/cpiSbGvBmM #TBINChat #travel

A3: @TBINChat The reason why #cruising is popular is because you can visit different types of destinations all in one vacation! Like big cities? Chose a cruise that includes #HongKong, Shanghai & Beijing. Want quaint? Try Sihanoukville and Da Nang. #TBINChat

A3: I prefer small towns and remote villages. Larger cities are too Westernized and it's hard to get a feel for the true culture of a region in the city. It's also much easier to get to know people and develop true relationships in the small towns and villages. #TBINChat

A3. Asia calls for mega-cities. I’m a huge architecture and art lover and Asian cities are simply incredible. I’ve seen some terrific art in Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai, Tokyo #TBINChat

A3 I like to explore the big cities first then visit small towns. loved my trip to #Singapore and can’t wait to return! #TBINChat

replying to @TBINChat @TBINChat A3) i love visiting remote villages in Asia and seeing how locals live #tbinchat

replying to @TBINChat @TBINChat A3: honestly it depends on what your travel is for . I like small towns and remote villages - to learn about culture, religion and food. #TBINChat

replying to @TBINChat @TBINChat A3. We’ve never traveled in Asia. Based on our other travels, we’d like a mix of big and small cities, urban and national parks. #TBINChat

A3. I don't really have a preference, but I like to see and experience a little bit of everything. Sometimes it's nice to be right in the thick of it in a big city and other times it's great to be out in countryside. Having a nice balance of everything is key
#TBINChat

A3. We've only been to big cities in Asia so we'd love to get off the beaten path and visit some smaller towns. #TBINChat

A3. I've only been out of Cities as an adult in India. Asia is so huge I'd find it hard to generalise #TBINChat

A3 I like a mixture of both - love the energy of the bigger city but also love seeing the culture and meeting the people of the small towns and villages. #TBINchat

A3. I've never been to Asia but I'd like to visit small villages. I feel like that's a better way to connect with the culture. #TBINChat

A3. I like small villages to interact with residents to see how they live and how the overall community works together. Q3. When you travel in #Asia, do prefer big cities, small towns or remote villages? Have a favorite? #TBINChat

A3: I like starting out in the bigger cities and then venturing out to the small villages. Most of the time you just can't get views like this without getting away from the city #TBINChat

A3: There’s no better way to immerse yourself in a local culture than visits to small towns! Our Asia itineraries are hand-selected so guests can visit hidden harbors where larger ships can’t sail: https://t.co/mNaPofydJi #TBINChat

A3. A mixture of all three. I love the energy and colours of big cities like Shanghai but I also love exploring off the beaten path. One of my favourite remote areas is south-west China, bordering Tibet. #TBINChat

A3 I love the country when I travel for hiking but cities for the street art! This guest post on our street art site @StreetArtChat makes me want to go to Malaysia! https://t.co/dXITjtnUfn

A3. Seoul( South Korea) and Taipei (Taiwan) perhaps don't get the credit they deserve. Both are stunning cities with lots to do nearby. https://t.co/K9ZjwmIrh6 #TBINChat

A3: The cities in Asia can be amazing, but I love to get out into the rural areas to see the quieter, rural side of life. #TBINChat

replying to @TBINChat @TBINChat A3 I want to see it all! I always want to make the most of my travels so I plan for everything. I prefer the small towns so I can talk to the locals and see the landscapes #TBINChat
