A9 #TBINChat I am not a big fan of crowds and have to be in just the right frame of mind for a Christmas Market. But I don't think they work when they are quiet either. And it needs to be cold and DRY!

A9. I don't do anything specifically different when it comes to travel in winter; especially if it is only a short break. Lock up, ask someone to take in the mail, tell my neighbors (and bank) i'll be away etc. Nothing out of the ordinary really. #TBINChat

A9 Most importantly, if it's a winter escape, is to shut off the water! No one wants to come home to frozen and broken water pipes! Also, lower the thermostat to 50 degrees to aid in keeping the house at a moderate temp.
