A4: Seemingly, it would be inevitable that it would be a completely different experience because a river cruise offers accommodations, meals, other guests and a completely different viewpoint.

A4. Yes, I think because you have a few hours in port as opposed to a few days on a traditional longer city break you have to ratio your time and decide what is a priority rather than wandering at your leisure. #TBINChat

Q4. Do you agree that visiting a destination in Europe via a river cruise or ocean cruise gives you a different experience? Why?

A4 I would imagine the biggest difference would be that often you would only get to visit a destination in the day time rather than be able to stay over night and experience it in starlight. Although I gather that may not be the case with river cruises? #TBINChat

A4. Absolutely! It's very convenient, you get to see so many places in a short period of time. Highly Recommend. The river cruise is more relaxing, less people, the ocean cruise you get to larger ports. We've done both. #TBINChat

A4. River Cruises let you pack and unpack only once, and let you relax watching passing landscapes, provide exciting tours of famous cities, and leave you with enough free time to explore on your own too. It’s really the best way to visit Europe. #TBINChat

A4: There is so much history and humanity along the rivers of Europe that could be easily overlooked on any other journey. I have also enjoyed ocean cruises in the Med that were an idyllic way to see multiple countries on one trip. #TBINChat @AmaWaterways
