Can't get enough of the foie gras, the gesiers and the magret de canard! This salad served by one of my fave local spots is perfection on a plate! #PYRadventures

A4: Absolutely! River cruises put you RIGHT in the center of it all and offer intimate escapes while an ocean cruise offers amenities and big-ship options for those who prefer it.

A4 I would love to see Europe on board of a cruise! I'm seriously considering this as it's a great way to explore several places in few time and have a glimpse of everything. #TBINChat

A4: The experience is what you make it. I love all sorts of travel in Europe- but cruising allows you to see more and go back and explore later #TBINChat

A4) I have visited a number of European destinations on cruises and they give you a different view of the place mainly because it is a quite stop so it gives you a taste if you want to explore further #TBINChat

A4 Visiting Europe via a cruise is such an extraordinary way of exploring a destination. Especially arriving in a city via the sea – wow! I’ll forever remember cruising in the Bay of Kotor in the early morning. #TBINChat

A4. You absolutely get a more relaxed experience cruising. You tend to take your own crowd with you though which is a bit of a shame, especially with big ocean liners. #TBINChat

A4: I'm sure it would. river or canal barge more than a big cruise ship, since you'd only see the harbor or cruise terminal from the ship. But on the river you're in the middle of it. Question Via @WAVEJourney #TBINChat

A4. Cruising allows you to see several destinations while only unpacking once! I think of it as getting a sampler platter that lets me know which places I want visit again and stay longer. #TBINChat #travel

A4: Yes absolutely! The rivers have long played an integral part in the countries of EU and by being the life vessels to its development, trade & shaping it what it is today. You will discover a wealth of history and culture about this world that changes you forever. #TBINChat

A4 Definitely, you get to visit so many different destinations, but you don’t need to worry about finding accommodation etc in each. The best of both worlds! #tbinchat

A4. I have toured Europe by river and ocean with @VikingCruises. It is definitely the best way to visit many destinations in a relatively short time, and I love traveling with a floating hotel! https://t.co/2N2UWwEZRL #TBINChat #travel #MyVikingStory

A4. Seeing Europe from the water is magical. Cruising the fjords in Norway with @VikingCruises was an amazing nature experience. We're looking forward to barging w/ @europewaterways later this year. Both so different & we expect to love them both. #TBINChat

A4: Yes! River cruises let you have a more intimate experience and go further inland while ocean cruises have a 'floating city' of people, restaurants, and activities. I'd love to try both, but I think I'll like river cruises better. @WAVEJourney #TBINChat #Europe #cruising

A4: Seemingly, it would be inevitable that it would be a completely different experience because a river cruise offers accommodations, meals, other guests and a completely different viewpoint.

A4. Yes, I think because you have a few hours in port as opposed to a few days on a traditional longer city break you have to ratio your time and decide what is a priority rather than wandering at your leisure. #TBINChat

A4 I would imagine the biggest difference would be that often you would only get to visit a destination in the day time rather than be able to stay over night and experience it in starlight. Although I gather that may not be the case with river cruises? #TBINChat

A4. Absolutely! It's very convenient, you get to see so many places in a short period of time. Highly Recommend. The river cruise is more relaxing, less people, the ocean cruise you get to larger ports. We've done both. #TBINChat

A4. River Cruises let you pack and unpack only once, and let you relax watching passing landscapes, provide exciting tours of famous cities, and leave you with enough free time to explore on your own too. It’s really the best way to visit Europe. #TBINChat
