A7. Just get out there and try things! Ask your waiters, look for where the locals eat and if you're brave - let the waiter order for you! #TBINChat

A7. Google. Blog posts. Travel agents. TripAdvisor.
Q7. What tips can you share for the best way to find out about local cuisine, beer, wine, or spirits in Europe?
Via @Lon_Unattached #TBINChat

A7: While exploring a new city, pay attention to where the locals are dining in the neighborhoods away from the tourist crowds. Don't be afraid to just walk in and try a new place.
#TBINChat

A7: To find out about local cuisine, ask the locals. Whether it's a hotel concierge, vacation rental host, or tour guide, they always have the best tips! #TBINChat

A7: We recommend sampling AmaWaterways locally-sourced cuisine and regional wines on board to fully immerse yourself in the culture of each destination. For example, savor goulash while cruising through Hungary and Camembert cheese while sailing the Seine. #TBINChat

A7. Ask a shopkeeper, cab driver, or any local. It's the first thing we do when we land. You'd be surprised how informative your cab driver can be. We typically luck out and get a foodie! We almost went to lunch with one in NYC! @Lon_Unattached #TBINChat

A7: Um⦠eat, drink, and be merry? Actually, my suggestion is to treat yourself to one touristy meal out, then ask local shopkeepers where they like to go. Taxi drivers sometimes get kickbacks, as do hotel employees, but shopkeepers⦠not likely. #TBINChat

A7: Thriving local cultures, complete with their own unique sets of culinary delicacies, are waiting to be discovered in each destination! Head over to #SeabournSquare & let our Guest Services Specialists recommend the best places to enjoy authentic local cuisine! #TBINChat

replying to @WAVEJourney @WAVEJourney @Lon_Unattached Ask locals (we had one gal on a train in Denmark invite us to have supper with her and her mom, lol), take a wine/beer tour, use apps like Yelp. A7 Choosing the right place to eat is the best way to find local drinks. If you eat in tourist restaurants you are unlikely to get local drinks. I seek out places away from the tourist hordes and check out the wine list before I go in. Then I ask what's local and good #TBINChat
