A2 To organize a successful multi gen trip I think the key is to keep in mind everyone's interests and needs. Not everyone might be able to walk 20,000 steps per day or skipping lunch sometimes #TBINChat #familytravel

A2: Rent a house/condo/apartment (or more than one) big enough for everyone. It's much easier if you can all hang around, cook, eat, etc. together. #TBINChat #travel

A2: I have no idea, but I'm guessing someone needs to take the lead, especially if the trip involves multiple adult family members. But I'm looking forward to gleaning ideas for the future.

A2. Take your time and don't over plan. Make sure you plan for the unexpected and factor in naps, snacks, etc. Don't be afraid to branch off now and then and do your own thing. #TBINChat #FamilyTravel

A2. Try to find a destination with a variety of things to do so that everyone can find something they enjoy. #TBINChat

a2. Appointing one person to make all the travel arrangements make things *so* much easier, #TBINchat

A2. Planning a multigenerational trip can be overwhelming. Usually, I prefer planning itineraries as a family on our own but for larger groups, I'd seek the help of a professional (ie. travel agent, tourism organizations, etc.)! #TBINChat

A2: Don't get too caught up in making sure everyone can go. That's not always possible- just book a trip that the majority can do and hope for the best. Here's my advice for multi-gen cruises via @cruisecritic https://t.co/DQ41umOrLg #TBINChat

A2: When organizing a multi-generational trip, be sure to consider the special needs of each age group. We hoped to bring aging parents on a destination wedding to DC. The amount of required city-walking nixed that plan! https://t.co/DKadjAlAH5 #travel #TBINChat #FamilyTravel

A2: Find accommodations with a kitchen–and big enough to allow adults/older kids to hang out even during naps or after bedtime. Via @nomadicchica #TBINChat #FamilyTravel

A2 Successful multigenerational starts with a comfortable place that is easy for everyone to get to and share a home, cooking, eating meals, exploring, more eating #tbinchat

A2: Make sure you consider a variety of interests when picking your destination, accommodations. Not everyone wants to do, see, eat the same things.

A2: Travel advisors hold the key to successful multi-generational travel! They can organize itineraries, book flights & communicate with the #cruise line on your behalf. Travel advisors are especially useful when organizing a group with members from different cities #TBINChat

A2 When we plan a trip with the kids we try to give them some choices to make. Everyone being involved in some planning usually means variety and each is happy at least once:)

And when planning an itinerary include plenty of extra time to cover any additional stops or breaks on day trips, as well as days off to rest, recuperate and relax #TBINChat
