Hey there #TRLT!
Iโm tweeting from #2018OBS @OutdoorBloggerSummit in #Roanoke #Virginia today!
#visitblueridge @VisitVBR
#trlt I am, as is normal, checking in from Nottinghamshire, UK. A place with a history of its own, tho ancient .... certainly a millenia. Newark Castle, nearby, certainly saw kings in the 1200s!

A1. Steeped in history and tradition that span centuries of time defines ancient for me. Among the many sights around the world, the #CaminodeSantiago is at the top of my list! #TRLT @WalkinSpain
Sorry to miss the chat tonight - hereโs a picture of the Kennet and Avon Canal, close to where I am staying #TRLT #travel #TravelTuesday
A1. To me #ancient is very different from #historic, and worthy of protection.Buildings in places like @HarpersFerryNPS were built in 1783 at the earliest (nothing for #Europe) but considered very important to #American #history. In #USA, 150 yrs is worthy of protection.

A1: To us, an ancient site doesn't have to be centuries old. It is more a place of significance, where something of great importance has occurred โ like Bunce Island in #SierraLeone https://t.co/wmA3uRDB6U #TRLT
A1: Ancient is anything that relates to a civilisation that is largely different from what is found now. Many of my favourite Ancient Places are in Egypt - and the Serepeum in Saqqara is a place that gave me a sense of absolute awe. #TRLT @Nilemajesty @ExperienceEgypt
A1: To me ancient refers primarly to period in European history, that is, ancient Rome/ Greece. There is no better place to explore various ancient buildings than Rome! There are lots of less known ancient buildings, too! #TRLT
#TRLT A1: my house was built in 1898. I don't know if that classifies as ancient LOL but it's all relative!
No I'm not posting a pic of it. But here are some from a similar period, in nearby Creswell. More about that town later ...
A1: Well I'm an American so anything that's over 50 years old seems ancient to me, but nothing breaks my heart more than seeing an old or historic place fall into ruin. ๐ธ- Borobudur, Indonesia @carornocar #TRLT
A1: One of our favourite ancient sites in the world has to be #Persepolis in #Iran โ the sheer size of the complex is impressive enough! https://t.co/MtCsboJmqI #TRLT
replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot Evening from the stunning Derwent Valley! I should be tweeting pencil sketches, but I'm actually going to try and stick to places I've been to in the last month. Might get tricky, but let's see :) #trlt
replying to @Touchse @Touchse @carornocar A1 Probably a 1000 years old but even 200 seems old. The most intriguing was the terracotta warriors said to be over 2200 years old #trlt
