A5. I would have to say Rome, Italy, is the most ancient place I have ever visited. #TRLT

A5: Managing Editor Claire visited Ancient Olympia in the #Peloponnese on a stiflingly hot day but still found the site atmospheric and magical. It was easy to imagine the cheering crowds lining the stadium. https://t.co/z1dIpOiWs7 #TRLT

#trlt A5: right. Some stone menhir things from the ancient Britons, maybe 3000 years old? These are from Scotland.

Yes, it was raining. I couldn't get closer to them because mud. Lots of mud.

A5: Newgrange in Ireland is a 5000 year old structure and the oldest Ancient Place I've visited. Ireland is special country for many reasons and the ancient sites are yet another incentive to visit. #TRLT @ancienteastIRL

A5. As much as I love #TRLT and #ancientcities, I’m going to have to head home with this one. The #Appalachian Mountains are 480 years old. It’s hard to get more ancient than that!

A5: Sticking with Sigiriya, my advice is to get there as soon as they open and head straight for the rock. I did that and had plenty of room for my climb as there were few other people ascending that early. This is good advice for most places, actually! @FuninFairfax #TRLT

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @FunInFairfax #trlt #a5 Athens - well that's all obvious enough, but once you have done the main stuff it's a surprising "car" place where I'd advise driving out of the city and exploring the huge wealth of places around it. Just don't drive it back into the city, as traffic still nightmare!

A5. Not many visitors see the #Tsodilo Hills when they travel to #Botswana on safari. But it is definitely worth the visit, and is one of the most ancient civilization sites in the world! How can you add it to your list? Plan your trip with a safari expert, like me! #TRLT
