Just seen it's €34 now to get in, that's steep coming from UK where national parks are all free.

A5: Sticking with Sigiriya, my advice is to get there as soon as they open and head straight for the rock. I did that and had plenty of room for my climb as there were few other people ascending that early. This is good advice for most places, actually! @FuninFairfax #TRLT

Just don't drive it back into the city, as traffic still nightmare!
