On the Road
TRLT
Hi there. I'm Amy at Wayfairer Travel and it's our first time joining the #TRLT chat today. Weird coincidence - I just starting reading Kerouac's On the Road? Must be meant to be! - Amy https://t.co/TWzOx22jbD

"On The Road". A drug- and sex-fuelled trip around the USA on greyhound coaches.
Although in my case the drug was alcohol and the sex was imaginary (*).

replying to @BradtGuides @BradtGuides There’s only one word to describe it: stunning #trlt
#TRLT Yep, it's that time again. Hope the time change in Europe hasn't confused you. It confused the heck out of me.
As usual, 5Qs in the next hour, & don't forget to use the hashtag so everyone can keep track of what everyone else is saying :)
Let's go ... "On The Road"!
A1 I have to say I prefer my own two feet. The pace allows me to see things much more clearly and stop to enjoy sunrises, sunsets, and great food/local libations. @carornocar @TRLT_Chat #trlt #traveltuesday
Good day everyone! Another perfectly #endlesssummer day here in Cayman! #TRLT Tweeting from this chair todya ;)
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @JLipowski @RTWBarefoot @Touchse Good morning, from a colourful Fall in Metro Vancouver, Canada. #TRLT
A1. After my #CaminodeSantiago with @WalkinSpain, I would have to say my own two feet! #Pilgrimage #TTOT #TRLT @carornocar
When you open Google Maps to find your specific location. squeals in delight! #AndamanIslands #MiddleOfNowhere #travel #maps #trlt #ttot #emerging #IncredibleIndia #TravelTuesday #traveltips

A1 I believe that being behind the wheels is a great way of getting around a country/region and visiting remote villages to get to know the local culture independently… @carornocar #TRLT
#TRLT A1: I love exploring a place at my own pace, walking around to get my bearings, or navigating somewhere by bike. In many places that means working up a sweat though; I visited 10 temple sites in Angkor by bike and could barely walk the next day! - Amy
#TRLT I'm happy with any way of travelling as long as I don't have to drive myself. Travelling on a train can be fun.
A1: I always prefer to walk if possible. Here’s some of the road section of the Hadrian’s Wall Path @carornocar #TRLT #travel #TravelTuesday
A1. I’ve become a big fan of solo #overlanding through #wilderness regions in recent years - me driving of course. I’m usually in a van or 4x4 camper, but here’s my dream vehicle… @LandRover

A1: When it comes to travelling in the UK, we're big advocates of using the #bus. Britain has a wealth of scenic routes just waiting to be explored! https://t.co/tu8Rqth1S6 #TRLT
A1: Ideally I'd be drifting over the road in a hot air balloon, but if that's not an option, I want to be on my own two feet. You'll never spot as many things from any vehicle as you will just meandering down the road on foot. @carornocar #TRLT
