A5: Kashgar's brilliant animal market and sunday market are phenomenal markets to visit because of the people and atmosphere which is very oriental.

A5: I’m not a great one for shops, but I did enjoy the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul @FuninFairfax #TRLT #travel #TravelTuesday
A5: Head to Salamanca Markets in Hobart, Tasmania, they're huuuuuge with so many different things to buy and eat! #TRLT
replying to @T_W_O @T_W_O @TheTravelCamel @HHLifestyleTrav @SeafoodFromScot @littlesfood @VisitCrieff It was fab! Here’s the surroundings #trlt
A5: Love the shops and markets in #Riga, #Latvia. In some parts of the old town, you can find carts set up like this one with handicrafts and amber jewelry. In other areas, there are huge indoor and outdoor markets with handicrafts, food, etc. It's a great city for markets! #TRLT
A4 connecting to a community through it's people and food at local shops and markets is always a pleasurable way to enjoy camaraderie. #TRLT
A5. Turkey! They have everything, and it's all beautifully made! I don't have pics in the markets (you get hustled a lot in Turkey, I tried my best to avoid that), but I sent an entire TRUNK of goods home

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @FunInFairfax A5 Been awhile since I went but the Rose Bowl Swap meet (flea Market) in @VisitPasadena is amazing. I would go back just for that but there is much more cool, happy, and fun things to do in Pasadena also! @VisitCA #travel #TRLT
A3 In Toronto you have to go to the Kensington Market, where @JLipowski and I got coffee and bought tortillas #TRLT

@JLipowski A4: Historically, in many parts of the world, markets were the social hub of communities. People went there to shop, gossip, catch up with friends etc. If you want to feel the pulse of a city and talk to locals, go to a market. #TRLT

A5: Visiting the incredible and very friendly Qaysari Bazaar in Erbil, #Kurdistan is worthy of a journey to the city - one of my favourite markets! #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @FunInFairfax A5: Amsterdam! Albert Cuyp Market is fab - you can literally get anything there, from street food to socks! #TRLT
replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @HHLifestyleTrav #trlt A1. We have a terrific farmers market from April-October in Union Gap. We are in the heart of delicious fresh summer fruits and veggies. Including these blueberries that were amazing!
replying to @JLipowski @JLipowski A5 Don't think I've traveled anywhere just for the markets + shops, but they certainly are a favorite thing to see when we do #travel. Love the bright colors of flower markets like this one in #Rome. #travel #TRLT
A5 Otavalo, Ecuador is one of my favourite spots, and it has a huge textile market every Saturday, plus an animal market at dawn -- a sight like no other #TRLT
A3: Philadelphia feels like our second home and you can't beat Reading Terminal Market @IamVagabond #TRLT
A5 Amsterdam's amazing cheese, fish and flower markets are always a great to explore. #TRLT
replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @annika_ed @FunInFairfax #trlt A2 “That 70’s Shoppe’ in Union Gap has great finds - people from Seattle and Portland often stop@by to search this store. I loved the Tickle Me Elmo. Hadn’t seen one of those in a while. It’s a treasure hunt every time.
