A5: Kashgar's brilliant animal market and sunday market are phenomenal markets to visit because of the people and atmosphere which is very oriental.

A5 #trlt I’d have to mention the various Xmas markets in Europe are worth a trip to see.

A5: Love the shops and markets in #Riga, #Latvia. In some parts of the old town, you can find carts set up like this one with handicrafts and amber jewelry. In other areas, there are huge indoor and outdoor markets with handicrafts, food, etc. It's a great city for markets! #TRLT

A5. Turkey! They have everything, and it's all beautifully made! I don't have pics in the markets (you get hustled a lot in Turkey, I tried my best to avoid that), but I sent an entire TRUNK of goods home

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @FunInFairfax A5 Been awhile since I went but the Rose Bowl Swap meet (flea Market) in @VisitPasadena is amazing. I would go back just for that but there is much more cool, happy, and fun things to do in Pasadena also! @VisitCA #travel #TRLT

replying to @JLipowski @JLipowski A4: Historically, in many parts of the world, markets were the social hub of communities. People went there to shop, gossip, catch up with friends etc. If you want to feel the pulse of a city and talk to locals, go to a market. #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @HHLifestyleTrav #trlt A1. We have a terrific farmers market from April-October in Union Gap. We are in the heart of delicious fresh summer fruits and veggies. Including these blueberries that were amazing!

replying to @JLipowski @JLipowski A5 Don't think I've traveled anywhere just for the markets + shops, but they certainly are a favorite thing to see when we do #travel. Love the bright colors of flower markets like this one in #Rome. #travel #TRLT
