A4: The most incredible underground lighting I ever witnessed was being in an active mine for half a shift in Broken Hill, Australia. The mix of light and water spray was incredible. No electronic equipment was allowed in the mine so no photos. #TRLT

A4. I don’t have photos but many years ago in Kyushu I went to a couple different caves. One was huge caverns with lit up stalactites & formations. One was small with a river. The water somehow got natural light & was beautiful. #TRLT

A4. The Initiation Well in #Sintra is a really cool (and I meant that literally, its at least 20 degrees cooler than up on ground level, which was so necessary when I visited).

Looking up, the roof is incredibly bright - no doubt inspired by Foster's earlier work on the Bilbao metro, where the entrances are known as "Fosteritos"
