A3. Hurricane Florence tried to get in between me and my #CaminodeSantiago with @WalkinSpain #Pilgrimage! Initially, I was to fly from Orlando to Madrid via Charlotte and Miss Florence changed those plans to Miami. All worked out in the end. #TRLT

A3. Just last week in #Ecuador’s #TerritorioWaorani, we went from extreme rain to extreme dry in 6 days time. At first we almost couldn’t reach the river due to high water, and at the tail end need to hire a #cessna to leave due to extreme lows.

A3: Once on a Transatlantic cruise, we had to change our route to the south due to a severe storm. Instead of visiting Bermuda, we spent a day in Madeira instead - beautiful. #TRLT

A3 #trlt When I coming back from Bermuda, @Delta was going to send me home through Boston and Detroit. That area of the country was about to have a few feet of snow dumped on them and Delta was offering rebooking at no cost. I took them up on that.

A3. I tried to go to Yakushima but a storm cancelled the boat, so ended up doing a road trip to Kagoshima instead - it was lovely but the volcano made me nervous. Being baked in the sand didn’t relax me either haha 🤓 (there’s a popular sand-spa from natural hot sands there)#TRLT

A3. Can't think of a time I've had to change plans, but I've definitely been kept in airports overnight because of weather. I was REALLY lucky to miss Hurricane Irma by a week in 2017, my brother had to drive my cats to NOLA to evacuate while I was in Scotland #TRLT

A3 Forest fires, created extreme weather conditions, resulting in us being unable to take our planned motorcycle trip, into B.C.'s interior. We did some day trips, home projects, then embarked upon on a Hornby Island getway. Less smoke and lots of Summer fun. #TRLT

A3: After the Fukushima disaster, I took advantage of the airlines changing flights for free and moved back my flight by a week. but only because it better coincided with the full bloom forecast for the cherry blossoms haha - bonus! #trlt

Other people couldn't get up the mountain. We had the fresh powder all to ourselves instead of having to pack up and go. #BESTDAYEVER #TRLT

A3 again: We had to change our route from Dawson City to Fairbanks once, because of fires burning on the Top of the World Highway. That meant a huge detour back to Whitehorse & all the way up to Fairbanks on the Alaska Highway. #trlt

If the flights only worked through O'hare. I would remind my bosses the flights were ALWAYS delayed. they would laugh & surprised when I would be #TRLT
