A3: Reaching *way* back to being a foreign exchange student in France my junior year of high school. It was so far out of my little farm girl comfort zone, but I was hooked. I had seen some of the world and I needed to see the rest of it ASAP. #TRLT

A3 A new experience during my travels, that has had the greatest impact on me, was learning to kayak. The sense of freedom and peace gliding across the water, has become a beautiful place to enjoy and share.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel A3. My first ever trip to Egypt and seeing the pyramids. It was the first time I’d seen something so close that I’d only ever read about in books. Profound effect in that it sparked my love for travel and for historical/ancient places. #TRLT

Hi guys, joining #TRLT chat late. The places that gave me the most new experiences were Borneo and India -- hard to pick a champion, but both were out of this world (at least, mine)

A3: Our CEO Paul took his family to Egypt on one of our tours at the beginning of the month and said that it was an experience he will never forget. Seeing the wonder in his children's eyes as they explored this amazing country for the first time was extraordinary. #TRLT

A4. I worried for 6 mos. about walking 10+ miles every day along the #CaminodeSantiago. However, it changed my life forever and I wouldn't trade the experience for anything! @WalkinSpain cc: @adventurepretty #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 A3: I'd say ongoing rather than a new experience but pictured was my first trip to Germany (2013) where I couldn't speak a word of the language.
Learning German has made such a difference, particularly in going to Austria / Germany. I now learn local phrases for any trip. #TRLT

A4: I was kind of intimidated at the thought of going to Uganda to see the wild mountain gorillas, but it ended up being the highlight of my entire life. Stock photo, because my camera battery died as soon as we reached them. 😥@adventurepretty #TRLT
