replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel yeah Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivery Service and Howl's Moving Castle would be my top 3. Shibu Onsen reminded me so much of the town in Spirited Away, they even played music over the town stereos like in the film when the stalls shut up and the ghosts came out! #trlt

A4 I am a repeat offender, I mean guest, at @relaischristine because it's charming, quiet, best breakfast buffet in Paris and reasonable! Plus, my mojo is all on the Left Bank where locals live. #TRLT
replying to @BradtGuides @BradtGuides @TheTravelCamel Thank you. We really loved Sri Lanka #TRLT #travel
replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @FunInFairfax @junkkDNA We usually use Airbnb or https://t.co/3eakwlqTxQ to find a budget/moderately priced hotel. We dont go for luxury, we usually go for something with a kitchen to keep costs down, somewhere quiet (fiance is a bit of an insomniac) and we always read reviews before booking #TRLT
A5 Decide on your budget and search accordingly, go through reviews, book zostels and hostels if travelling in a group- they are pretty reasonable and very comfy. leaving pics of some our stays at Zostels accross India.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel A4: I'm really not a fan of hostels. I'd like my own toilet. When I want to pee I don't want to wait. Also, people are just nasty which is annoying. #TRLT when you get a single room, it's almost the price of a hotel, so no. Plus I snore and people are mean :).
replying to @Sputniktechno @Sputniktechno @bethias @LindaPeters64 @BradtGuides @FunInFairfax @InterConHotels That's true. Each island is different. I loved Maldives even though I only stayed in the local islands and not the luxury resort ones. 😀 #TRLT
A4. I absolutely love bush camps in the game parks of Africa. When you lie in bed listening to animals all around your tent. Lots of them I'd return to! Some are really basic tents and some amazing luxury. #trlt

A5: Search often and on different third party accommodation sites (I usually use @bookingcom). Don't discount booking directly with a property because you can get additional benefits and loyalty point bonuses. #TRLT

replying to @loyaltytravels @loyaltytravels I agree - a private room in a hostel is usually more expensive than a private room in a budget hotel. #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 A5: For hotels I start with a comparison site (such as Booking). Once I find a hotel I'm interested in I'll then check to see if it's cheaper booking with them directly. Sometimes works out. A little hit and miss but a useful start. #TRLT
replying to @Roadsandrunways @Roadsandrunways Never been but you have certainly piqued my curiosity! #TRLT
A3. Many many many years ago, hubs and I got suckered into a timeshare before timeshares were really a thing. But we've had some really cool digs. Like the entire top attic floor of an old hotel in Manchester, England. Top floor of a small castle in Ireland. #trlt
