TRLT
Good morning #TRLT from Metro Vancouver, B.C. Canada. Where are you joining from today?
Photo: Pitt Lake, the second-largest lake in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia and one of the world's largest, yet relatively few, tidal lakes.
#TRLT I was once inspired to visit a town in England (Saltburn-on-Sea) off the back of a chick-lit novel, would you believe.
We get our inspirations everywhere I guess :) And now it's your turn to tell us!
[I need to go back. The blog post's been in draft since 2013...]
Checking in for this week’s #trlt from Reading, England! (More exciting destination next week, promise)
replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @fullmetaltravlr @JandJtravelling @CharlesMcCool Love the Lake Tahoe area! Note that even in summer though, its water's quite cold. However, there are several hot springs in the area I haven't explored. The former mining town Virginia City makes a great daytrip (below). #TRLT
#TRLT A1: With me it was mainly an appreciation of maps, when I was but in single figure ages. I was kind of obsessed with them, with borders, with being interested in where roads went, etc.
I talk more about my inspirations here: https://t.co/yUxyOLZOjo
A1: My mom always loved traveling, so some of my earliest memories are driving from New Jersey to Florida for great family vacations. Here's a recent #Florida #beach photo from last year! #TRLT
A1. What inspired travel for me began with my art history classes in college. It was then that I knew I had to visit the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel, not to mention the "David" in Florence. #TRLT Pics 1 and 2 via https://t.co/zJXjakUzBj.

A1 Sadly, the death and serious illness of far too many people in my life at far too young an age, made me finally realize that life it too short to keep putting off travel for tomorrow. #TRLT @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 @JLipowski @Touchse
A1. It was the movie, "The Way" that ignited the eternal flame within and drove me to the #CaminodeSantiago. That dream came true for me in 2018 with @WalkinSpain . #TRLT
A1: I was absolutely fascinated with stories about Ancient Egypt when I was a boy. Took me decades to finally visit the country, but it was worth the wait. #TRLT
A1: A memorable roadtrip trip with family friends, from Toronto to Montreal, originally inspired me to travel. The thrill of learning about Canada's French history and culture while staying with native french speakers was exciting.

A1: What sparked my original desire to travel? I was a very shy child. Who one day grew up and started wondering about the world that I saw on 📺 . After my first taste of using my passport. I was addicted to #travel

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel A1: The National Parks. I loved the outdoors growing up and wanted to travel across the American West after graduating college. @ZionNPS was the 1st of many parks I've traveled across the country to explore #TRLT
replying to @TravelAtWill @TravelAtWill @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 @JLipowski @Touchse I always find it sad when younger people head straight into the working world without taking a gap year or two before starting on their regular careers. They can work at temporary jobs to finance that. #TRLT
