A5: To view animals with wings you need to have patience and need to be still - no talking, minimal movement. Just waiting and watching. #TRLT

A5: As with all wildlife, time and patience are key. It's not always possible to predict exactly when and where you will come across the winged creature that you seek. The wait will usually be worthwhile! This is a #shoebill #stork from #Uganda. Took time & care to find it! #TRLT

#TRLT A5: There's a million and one 'hides' in the British countryside; wooden shelters with windows or open slots where you can just sit in comfort and watch the trees and fields beyond, waiting for birds to pass by and feed, without disturbing them.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel A5) The buddy system is a good way to view winged animals, have binoculars with you and have patience since they usually appear when you least expect them. #TRLT

A5: Birds from the Corvidae family, like crows & magpies, are highly intelligent and will remember faces for life. So be nice to them and they won't swoop you in breeding season. I have 2 local crows I've trained to fly into my yard when I have food & now eat from my hand! #trlt

A5 #trlt Find a place you expect to see wildlife & take a camera & a lot of patience. I've found feeding birds will draw some unique species I wouldn't otherwise see. Here's my pics of the South African penguins.
