Q2: Recount a snowy or icy winter adventure? Share a photo! via @FuninFairfax @CharlesMcCool #TRLT I went snow-mobilling in Levi, Finland last winter. We set off in the (perpetual) twilight, went ice-fishing, warmed up by the fire with hot drinks & returned in the dark. Magical.

Q4: A photo of your favourite mode of transportation in ice and snow? @heidisiefkas #TRLT Cross-country skiing is by far the best way to travel in snow for me. When we had an unusually snowy winter in England, I dusted down my skis in the attic and skied into the countryside.

Q5: What snow/ice experience transformed your thinking about a destination? @CharlesMcCool #TRLT Lapland food was a pleasant surprise (I loved the berry sauces and drinks), loved the experience of living in a place where the sun never gets up. And kids still cycle to school!
