replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @theexploringeye A1. Trakai Historical National Park. #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @HeidiSiefkas A2 #TRLT Qutubshahi Tombs in the city I live in #Hyderabad and #Charminar both can be added to UNESCO list. Charminar makes more sense now, it was build as a mark of eradication of Cholera in 1591

A3: Possibly the medieval town of Visby on the Swedish island of Gotland @postcardsplaces #TRLT #travel #TravelTuesday

replying to @safetravels196 @safetravels196 @TheTravelCamel The second pic is of panch mahal. My version of these places is an amazing memory. It was my college trip during 3rd year of engineering. We were around 40 students traveling together. It was lovely. (3rd pic is of fatehpur sikri front gate) #trlt

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @HeidiSiefkas A2: The Big Merino in my old hometown in Australia definitely deserves UNESCO World Heritage status. #TRLT

A3: How about Samarra Archaeological City in Iraq? The 9th-century Great Mosque and its spiral minaret are among the many architectural masterpieces of this UNESCO-listed site. #TRLT

A3: Great Zimbabwe is not a well known site, but it is truly spectacular. Visit last afternoon - it's a special time in the place (and not as hot). #TRLT

A3 So many people go to the Taj Mahal in Agra but miss the Agra "Red" Fort. I found this to be far more stunning than the Taj Mahal! https://t.co/HNP6BYE3TB #TRLT @postcardsplaces @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64

#trlt A3: So, I don't know about "least known", but certainly I'd say that one of the least visited, at least for Europe, is the St Kilda archipelago off the coast of Scotland. In UNESCO's list twice, for both culture/history, and landscape/environment.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @theexploringeye A1. Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap, Cambodia. I shouldn't visit it in just one day. it should be at least 3 days visit. Too many things i skipped on those 1 day. #TRLT

replying to @pip_says @pip_says @postcardsplaces A3: Prehistoric settlement in Chirokitia, Cyprus and Wassu stone circle, Gambia #TRLT

A3 After a tortuous ascent on a rough track to a barren mountain plateau - and then along a faint route, is the tiny Omani village of Jaylah. The village's claim to fame is that its 'falaj'- the ancient man-made water channels of Oman - is a UNESCO site #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @HeidiSiefkas A2 : Piazza Unità Italia in Trieste. The largest open square in Europe. #TRLT

A3 Either Humboldt Park in #Baracoa or #Camagüey #Cuba via @postcardsplaces #TRLT #cubicletocuba #traveltuesday #cubatravel #adventure

A3 #TRLT via @postcardsplaces the Curonian Spit on the Baltic. Runs down from Lithuania to the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad. We visited Nida, once a fishing village, now a popular tourist resort. Author Thomas Mann is one of many Germans to have holidayed here.

A3: Has anyone here visited Sarazm in Tajikistan? One of the world’s oldest cities, this wonderfully preserved site allows visitors to walk through doorways that existed 5,000 years before! https://t.co/k7ApMvW5da #TRLT

#TRLT A3: The Struve Geodetic Arc marker in Jekabpils, Latvia. Part of a series of survey markers used to measure the size and shape of Earth. Not visually impressive but the rare scientific inclusion by UNESCO

replying to @JLipowski @JLipowski @TheTravelCamel @RTWBarefoot @LindaPeters64 @pip_says The Templo de San Francisco. It's a gorgeous church that can rival any in Europe, but it also is around Jardin Zenea where every celebration happens #trlt #UNESCO

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @postcardsplaces A3 #TRLT Wat Phu Laos I went there on my motorcycle 😊
