A5: Last summer we did a hike in only lodge in @BanffNP. We were 15 km from the nearest road. They helicopter in supplies. It was so silent, with millions of stars at night. It was magic. #TRLT

The sound of silence. I have spent many hours in splendid isolation atop a mountain, on a ridge, all alone with nothing but the sounds of maybe a hawk, the wind, cow bells slowly ringing 2,000 feet below my feet.
replying to @MomsWanderlust @MomsWanderlust NFL games are enthralling, we've been called those 'crazy Canadians too! #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @postcardsplaces A5: Jerusalem have different Quarters and was amazed how different they were and quite quiet in some, this is the Armenian Quarter. #WhereisKerwin #TRLT

@TheTravelCamel I’d say the bush can be really noisy! But a good noise, the sounds of Africa.
Liwonde National Park is our favourite.

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 The Red Sox made the playoffs while we were there so we went to see them play the Yankees in the ALDS. That was another loud one, the energy was insane! #TRLT
A5 Just doing nothing but watching nature is our idea of perfection. This was at @RawahRanchCO. Simply perfect.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @postcardsplaces A5: Just sitting & letting my mind wander while admiring the scenery w/ only the sound of water. Did that here, for example, in a not so crowded part of Acadia National Park in Maine. #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @postcardsplaces A2: Memorable or favourite music on my travels via @postcardsplaces #TRLT A group of local singers and musicians were recording themselves at the eco-lodge I stayed at in The Gambia — an unexpected treat! (apologies for poor video)

@TheTravelCamel @postcardsplaces A5 #TRLT the nature reserve at Aston Rowant in the #Chilterns has a Talking Trail, a mile-long circular route
with 6 sculptures, each with a wind-up ‘listening post’ of artists' comments and short stories, poems and songs read or sung by local schoolchildren and community groups.
replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @postcardsplaces A5) When I find a quiet & tranquil place I like to keep it that way so I'll just sit back and try to absorb it all in. #TRLT
A5. Well. of course there are a lot more tranquil places but due to the civil war in Ukraine there were almost no flights in or out of Kievs international airport...it couldn't have been quieter! #trlt
A5. Night dives can be meditations on breath and beauty. Especially in Lembeh Straits, Sulewesi while waiting for Mandarin Fish to emerge. @postcardsplaces

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @postcardsplaces A5: While most of the times I enjoy getting lost in the beauty of the places I travel to, sometimes I love capturing some beautiful memories #TRLT Taken in a remote village in Kerala

@TheTravelCamel @postcardsplaces A5: The road less traveled can lead us to quiet places, what activities have you enjoyed in a tranquil place? Another from the eco-lodge in The Gambia: wonderfully silent night, apart from the surprisingly loud chirping from this tiny frog!
