replying to @Nilemajesty @Nilemajesty @VisitCA šŸ¬ Thank you. As you probably know San Franciscoā€™s entire Pacific shoreline is administered by the National Park Service. If only the city had a warm summer climate without fog & less horrific riptides S.F. would be on par with Rio & Sydney as a great urban beach resort. #TRLT

A3. Not by choice, ARL airport floor; who knew Sweden couldnā€™t handle a bit of snow. Intentionally, maybe my hammock when I moved to Zakynthos (tent too hot), or a hotel in a C.14th cloister in Alghero. Photo view of the latter.

A3 #TRLT The Hyangsan Hotel in North Korea (https://t.co/eQKRDgfzvw) was unusual: enormous, pyramidal, and apparently no other guests! It's on Mt Myohyang, a sacred site. We visited a local temple and accidentally gatecrashed a wedding.

It overlooked a lake and after learning about the location, I was shocked it was available at all. We would have breakfast at the local bar and shop at the Germanic/Italian grocery store. It was great!

A3 In Khiva, Uzbekistan you can stay in converted madrassas within the @UNESCO Old Town. Madrassas are religious schools, or universities, & you stay in rooms which were once students' bedrooms or classrooms. This is one is Hotel Orient Star. #TRLT
