A2: Could have put the Arc de Triomphe/Eiffel Tower/Verseilles, but going with église Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption d'Auvers-sur-Oise, when daughter’s school art trip to Paris was oversubscribed, and we went on our own October trip instead.

A2 The Ayaz Qala, one of the Khorezm fortresses in Karakalpakstan, has a special place in my heart as I was able to take my parents there last year. It was somewhere they’d not been before, & I loved watching them explore it for the first time. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CaitlinKellyNYC A2: As a teenager I wrote a list of the places I wanted to travel; East Asia, India and the Inca Trail. I ticked the last one off last year - long awaited and in the nick of time before travel changed forever. #TRLT

A2: The standing stones of Callanish, for many, is an intensely spiritual and evocative site. Believed to be older than both Stonehenge and the Pyramids of Giza, this archaeological landmark is without a doubt the most visited site in the Outer Hebrides. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CaitlinKellyNYC A2. Oh my goodness, so many! I love history and since I was a kid, have always had my head inside a history book. I can’t decide between Egypt or Rome as I studied them too. The colosseum will always be special, it made me speechless (doesn’t happen often) #TRLT

A2: For @Iain_G_Campbell this has to be the Indus, one of the great rivers and landmarks of the Indian subcontinent, which he followed from its source in Tibet to its mouth near Karachi. Join him on this journey with his book, From the Lion’s Mouth: https://t.co/8y4ac9qqHE #TRLT

A2: An iconic landmark that has special significance for me, is Notre Dame Basilica, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Learning of Canada's unique history through the stained glass windows of the buildings, began my fascination with Old Montreal.🍁
