A3: favourite outdoor museum is @ChilternOAM a few miles from us in the #Chilterns. Wonderful work in preserving historic buildings which otherwise would have been demolished. You can see inside them, too! Great insights into everyday life through the centuries #TRLT

replying to @CaitlinKellyNYC @CaitlinKellyNYC @jasontravelblog @TheTravelCamel @PureTraveller The Titanic museum @TitanicBelfast is so good, so well presented, that you are a little bit surprised when you reach the bit that reveals the fate of the voyage. It's eerie + quite emotional. #TRLT
A3: my favourite outdoor museum would have to be Jordan's Petra. It's mind-blowing! #TRLT
replying to @SKJtraveler @SKJtraveler We were staying in Dublin -- it's an easy 2 hour train day trip. It really placed the ship within the city's larger history and economy. Lots of context. COOL fact: if you stand at the top and look down at the benches encircling it, they are shaped in Morse code. #TRLT
A3: The Hahoe Folk Village is a living museum - unlike anything else I've visited. #TRLT
A3 This was in Brookline, New Hampshire. It's called the Andres Institute of Art. I visited with #adventure & #hiking lovers @RoarLoudTravel #TRLT #traveltuesday
replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot So glad you enjoyed the city of my birth. #TRLT

@TheTravelCamel A3 : Rome, all these ruins (Roman forum, etc) around the Colosseum.
Why? because it's Italy, because it's Rome!
The whole city is some kind of open-air museum. #TRLT
#trlt A3: there's two 'living history' museums I've been to in the UK, one at Dudley (The Black Country Museum) and one at Beamish, that both take you through life as was, during the height of the industrial age that the areas were most noted in.
replying to @sumarumi @TheTravelCamel @PureTraveller @CaitlinKellyNYC #TRLT A2… and the second I recommend is the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah Museum in Essaouira, Morocco, which has some beautiful artworks.(I use the horse and warrior with rifle as the homescreen for my iPad as I love it so much).
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel I have blogged about it. I had a chilled time there, it was a great city for my mental health, even if I was only there for four(?) days. #trlt
A3 | I still have fond memories of the ASTRA National Museum Complex outside Sibiu, Romania. I think it was the first ethnographic museum I visited as a solo traveler, and I loved feeling like I'd traveled back in time. #TRLT #romania

A3: a favourite outdoor museum, is the self drive tour of the Monocacy National Battlefield, in Maryland, from the American Civil War. Standing in the midst of the fields, I felt a deeper understanding of the war. https://t.co/cMurqjBqt5

#TRLT A3: I've been to some places that are partly indoors and partly outdoors. Many of them are ... 'dark' places - like the Killing Fields, Buchenwald, Pripyat. They're kind of museums, in a way.
replying to @TheTravelCamel
