Memorable Museums

A2 I'd say the @corningmuseum in @CorningFLX - I was there twice. I enjoyed the hands-on glassblowing and learning about the science behind Corning via @PureTraveller @CaitlinKellyNYC #TRLT
The open air museum of Bagan #Myanmar is a true beauty with thousands of ruined buildings. #TRLT A2
A2. The National Railway Museum in Buenos Aires, AR. We stumbled across it meandering randomly around & admission was free! Housed in an old train station, full of interesting antique technologies used in operating a major train system in the past. #TRLT
#TRLT A2: well - speaking of Zagreb ... there's a small museum called (I think) Zagreb 80 that is set out like a typical Yugoslavian flat from the late communist period, complete with decor, music, technology, goods, clothing ... it's all also rather interactive.
A2 If you like looking at old junk and long words, check out the AutoMotoVeloPhotoTeleRadio Museum in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. #TRLT
I traveled to Torino @Italia for the Egyptian Museum it has the most unique pieces outside Egypt #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel We travelled to Karonga in northern Malawi to see the Malawisaurus in the museum there! It lived in Malawi during the Aptian-Cenomanian age (125 million- 113 million years ago)! #TRLT #Malawi #dinosaurs
replying to @HeidiSiefkas @HeidiSiefkas @PureTraveller @CaitlinKellyNYC A2 While the #DC museums are great, we have a lesser-known Smithsonian right here in Northern @VisitVirginia. The Udvar-Hazy center is a spectacular and giant air and space museum. https://t.co/19ut2PGFCc #trlt
replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 A1 - museums are always high on our list when visiting cities, but it’s not usually the only reason. #NYC comes to mind for us. last time we were there we had to go to the MOMI (museum of the moving image) in Queens for their video game exhibit. They also had muppets! #TRLT

@TheTravelCamel @PureTraveller @CaitlinKellyNYC A2: I 100% recommend the Museum of Broken Relationships - not just about romantic relationships, but family, food, body, etc. There are a few I think but I went to the one in Zagreb.
I even wrote about it, I loved it that much! #TRLT https://t.co/Qy1aVlDYKF
A2: Two of London's less famous exhibitions are well worth a visit: the Grant Museum of Zoology in Bloomsbury, and the clock and watch collection at the Science Museum (the world's oldest such collection) @PureTraveller @CaitlinKellyNYC #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @PureTraveller @CaitlinKellyNYC A2 : The Viking Ships Museum in Roskilde, Denmark 🇩🇰. #TRLT
A2: Cope museum in Vientiane, Laos. This museum tells you the story of all those cluster bombs that were released and laid being the most bombed country in the world. Amazing #TRLT
replying to @itsjustbecks_ @itsjustbecks_ @TheTravelCamel Oh no. At least the outside is just as sensational. #TRLT @MuseoGuggenheim
replying to @FunInFairfax @FunInFairfax @HeidiSiefkas @PureTraveller @CaitlinKellyNYC @VisitVirginia I know @TheTravelCamel enjoyed the Udvar-Hazy @smithsonian @airandspace museum very much! #TRLT
A2: A lesser known museum, I'd recommend on The Road Less Travelled, is the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum 🏄♂️ in California, a gnarly glimpse into surf culture. I love the ironing board, Burt Landess used as a belly board at Cowells beach.

@TheTravelCamel @PureTraveller @CaitlinKellyNYC A2: I was pleasantly surprised by Birmingham's museum.
Really interesting and another free museum. #TRLT
A2: I'd recommend visiting Svalbard. Everything is left as it was from mining, whaling and other enterprises. You can see everything exactly as it was left - including the airship mooring mast at Ny-Ålesund #TRLT
replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @PureTraveller @CaitlinKellyNYC A2. Well I can still remember the museum in Okinawa for the war which I thought was fairly done and very interesting. I poured over letters they let you read and it was heartbreaking. There’s an outdoor memorial there too. #trlt
