A1 I'm typically not a museum person. I prefer the outdoors, but I did have a wonderful experience at El Prado in Madrid. I was studying abroad '97-'99. I had a weekly class at the museum. I learned so much. I'd redo in a heartbeat. #TRLT #traveltuesday

A1: Haven’t been for years, but our daughter visited Fishbourne Roman Palace (https://t.co/qsoDfsL0wv) in Dec. ‘19 with her uni archaeology group specifically to be shown some of the collection at the largest Roman home in Britain.

#TRLT A1: er. uhm. Kinda? Like, I chose to visit Cambodia over Vietnam partly because of Tuol Sleng, if that counts as a museum.

Generally I go to places that have a historical or cultural resonance, which usually means a specific museum needs visiting.

A1. As big Salvador Dali fans, we traveled in 2015 to Cadaques, Spain, specifically to complete the Dali Triangle after we saw the Dali Theater Museum in Figueres in 2011. From Cadaques we went to Portlligat House Museum and Gala Dali Castle. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel A1: London maybe. One of the reasons I visited recently was to take advantage of the museums being quieter than it is in peak (non Covid) season.

Accommodation was also picked on closeness to the museums - such as @NHM_London here 😊#TRLT

A1. I don't think I've ever made a specific trip for one museum, but there's usually at least one high on my list of things to do whenever I visit a new city. #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 A1. I just tend to go to museums if it’s easy like at the start of a national park or part of a botanical garden/important to the site I’m near or rainy. That being said I think San Francisco, NYC, and Chicago wowed me with their museums. #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 A1 - museums are always high on our list when visiting cities, but it’s not usually the only reason. #NYC comes to mind for us. last time we were there we had to go to the MOMI (museum of the moving image) in Queens for their video game exhibit. They also had muppets! #TRLT
