A3: The Atomium – Belgium’s answer to the Eiffel Tower – is a sight to behold. The set of silver balls represents an iron molecule magnified 165 million times. But we’re not quite sure how you get inside… #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @junkkDNA @afewmilesmore A3) Having studied architecture I wanted to see the Eiffel Tower in person because it helped change how structures are built. Prior to its construction buildings were mainly wood and/or masonry which limited their height. Afterwards the sky was the limit. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @afewmilesmore A3. We see so many accidents happening across world due to the failure in structure in age of technology but I often wonder how the age old construction still stand tall & strong and was constructed without advanced tech.
Sharing some many centuries' old construction #TRLT

A3: Larabanga Mosque. Situated close to the entrance of Mole National Park, this is the oldest and best known of the surreal West Sudanese-style mud-and-stick mosques that stud northeast Ghana. #TRLT

A3 Visiting the bridge in Mostar in Bosnia-Herzegovina was overwhelming (for me) because of its recent history, the war that only ended 1995. #TRLT

A4: Portmeirion, N Wales. A unique, brilliant pastiche of Italian fishing villages, with Arts & Crafts, Classical and Palladian influences, false perspectives, fake windows, life-size figurines. A 'home for fallen buildings' rescued from elsewhere. @BradtGuides @junkkdna #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @junkkDNA @afewmilesmore A3 #TRLT Well, back to Chaco. There was no timber within 70 miles of the canyon and they didn't have the technology of the wheel, but still managed to build many of the largest buildings ever constructed in North America until the 19th century, aligning them to celestial cycles
