Q3: Which architecture or structure made you wonder @junkkdna @afewmilesmore #TRLT
It has to be Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, started almost 100 years ago and still not finished. The exterior detail is incredible but it's the organic flow of the interior that inspired me.

A3: Raby Castle in Co. Durham. The gold ceiling in the octagonal drawing room must have taken some work. Also, the entrance hall ceiling was raised in order for carriages to be driven in one side and out the other @junkkdna @afewmilesmore #TRLT

A3: Construction started on Pyongyang’s Ryugyong Hotel back in 1987, but this Shard-esque 105-storey building was dogged by complications from day one. To this day, it remains unfinished! #TRLT

It’s been a part of Mexico and then the USA, it has baroque style and shell symbols among many more interesting details including unique construction techniques. 📸: https://t.co/2XVgUYPoyn #TRLT

A3 #TRLT I wondered what the monks who built the Katshki Pillar in #Georgia were thinking. They wanted to be alone, or maybe closer to heaven above? #architecture

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @junkkDNA @afewmilesmore A3) Having studied architecture I wanted to see the Eiffel Tower in person because it helped change how structures are built. Prior to its construction buildings were mainly wood and/or masonry which limited their height. Afterwards the sky was the limit. #TRLT
