A3: Lakes (and lochs!) are good fun for going round or across, stopping on islands in the middle, exploring local history and quirks and, of course, local food. We loved Fort William in the Scottish Highlands, on Loch Linnhe @ramblrramblr @bradtguides #TRLT

A3: When it came to exploring Bosnia’s rivers, Carys found white-water rafting on the Vrbas near Banja Luka to be the most enjoyable and adventurous activity. https://t.co/PjCmQEPEt0 #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @ramblRramblR @BradtGuides A3) Since the water is usually too cold for me to swim in at Lake Tahoe when I'm there, I enjoy viewing from different vantage points along the shoreline. #TRLT

A3: My favorite way to enjoy rivers, waterfalls, and/or lakes? Kayaking on a sunny day with friends on Boston's Charles River. @BradtGuides @ramblRramblR

#trlt A3: This is the women of Gaua (Vanuatu) playing and dancing their 'water music'. It's very serious; they learn from an early age and have competitions. A bit like other cultures do with cheerleading.

A3: One of our favourite ways to enjoy travelling on water is to take it slow and embark on a river cruise. We can't think of a better way to take in Bratislava's stunning skyline than on a boat ride, leisurely drifting down the River Danube. https://t.co/zMMQo90SlI #TRLT

A2: Not especially a favourite, but #Iceland possibly takes my top spot in Europe for rivers, waterfalls and lakes, especially if a geyser can be regarded as an erupting lake! #TRLT

A2: Favourite place to travel for lakes is here at home in the UK, either the #LakeDistrict in North West England or the Highlands in #Scotland (technically they are lochs here!). Here is a picture of Loch Lomond from the top of Ben Lomond, typical #ScottishWeather!
