The only time I’ve ever actually missed a flight is when I decided to travel Orly to Charles des Gaulle (bloody Paris, man) via the seventh arrondissement and couldn’t find the connecting bus. Luckily, I arrived at the airport to discover the flight was cancelled. #TRLT

#trlt A2 (or A3): not so much a missed connection as a missed stop. On a bus through Uzbekistan (which was already several hours over my expected ETA) I was dozing when we passed through Bukhara, didn't get told, & had to be let out at a toll booth an hour towards Samarkhand. 1/2

A1 In Ecuador, wanted to visit the mall. Told to take the bus until you see the mall. Pretty straightforward until we never saw it. We found out we were on the wrong bus. When we finally arrive, we're starving and eat lunch & dinner at the same restaurant in the food court. #TRLT

(2/2) -cafe being open to help me find the hostel I'd booked (or maybe I was just going to wander about, I don't remember); I didn't have a smartphone/map/guide. I found my way there using bus stop maps and with the help of a homeless man. #TRLT
