A3: Collapsing in Georgia's mountains; toasting Armenia's revolution; nights in Russia's scary bars and hotel saunas: I've spent half my travels getting drunk on my own. Then there's the secret door in Azerbaijan.

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @JLipowski Ah, that's such a tough question! I'd probably go with a lemongrass chicken banh mi but a good bowl of bun or pho is always great. Even just a cup of fresh fruit off the street in Vietnam is amazing! #TRLT

A3: Goat Head Soup is a meal I never want to try again. I have many fond memories of Zimbabwe, but that meal was definitely not one of them. #TRLT

A3: Anyone fancy a glass of Yukon Jack whiskey garnished with a genuine, severed human toe? The only rule is: āYou can drink it fast, you can drink it slow, but your lips have gotta touch the toeā. Would you be brave enough? #TRLT https://t.co/ttG4aRaumF

A3: Piranha that @HMatthews67 caught on the Orinoco in Venezuela. Note the sharp teeth and the eyes of a killer (and the piranha too). Rumba the parrot decided to join us for lunch. @coastalspc @BradtGuides #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @coastalspc @BradtGuides A3: Definitely barnacles, which look like little rocks but they taste like essence of the sea. Iāve eaten them in Portugal, when I was hiking the Fishermanās Trail along the Rota Vicentina. #TRLT

replying to @tspadventure @tspadventure @LindaPeters64 Oh my goodness, both sound amazing! #TRLT

replying to @BradtGuides @BradtGuides @jonathancampion I had horse's and camel's milk in Kazakhstan. The latter was okay, but the former was not to my taste at all. #TRLT

A3: Although I don't have a picture of the dish, it was in #Madrid #Spain cojones (testicles). I'd say the texture was chewy and taste a little bitter/acidic with lots of olive oil and garlic via @coastalspc @BradtGuides #TRLT #traveltuesday

replying to @SoloTravelStory @SoloTravelStory @RTWBarefoot @BradtGuides Agree, the gelato is outstanding. #TRLT

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot What if it was served in a pasta source or on a pizza? #trlt

A3: I don't consider anything that strange or unusual, but many people think lampredotto (4th stomach of the cow) is a bit odd. It's a Florentine speciality that I'm partial too now. I think it's fun that the 1st three stomachs just aren't good enough! #TRLT https://t.co/3vY0yPA5rO

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @coastalspc @BradtGuides A3: Another strange food is sheepās head, which I first ate at the Reykjavik bus station. (Itās the entire head, including the tongue.) #TRLT

A3 Japan. The 1st pic is from Fukuoka and I couldn't honestly say what most of the food was. The 2nd is from Kyoto where Bungo helped us to sample bracken jelly with soy flour; just the type of food a #Womble likes @coastalspc @BradtGuides #TRLT

A3. In Arctic Russia some ethnic groups have a drink made from Reindeer blood. As well as their beloved frozen fish. Probably some of the more unusual foods Iāve encountered. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @coastalspc @BradtGuides A3. Scorpion skewers on Khao San Road. Century egg in Penang. And balut in coron, Philippines. Honestly. All tasted pretty good too lol. #trlt

A3 I had some questionable dishes during my trips around Asia. Sometimes I didn't even know what I was eating. Sometimes was better not to. In one of these photos I remember trying the "snake wine". In the photo with the yellow food, underneath there were fried bugs #TRLT
