AGAIN Q3: What is the strangest or most unusual thing you have eaten or drunk on The Road Less Travelled? Show us a photo! via @coastalspc @BradtGuides #TRLT

A3: If you enjoy Scotch whiskies, why not try Kazakhstan’s national drink kumys? The horse’s milk is fermented in leather sacks, giving it a similar smoky flavour. Although @jonathancampion recommends refraining from smelling it beforehand! #TRLT https://t.co/bL8zI1sCiV

A3: While I am not very adventurous with strange or unusual foods, trying Alligator bites in Chandler, Arizona was a memorable culinary adventure on The Road Less Travelled. Luckily they tasted like chicken!

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @coastalspc @BradtGuides A3: Hm...probably not strange for Australians, but I love kangaroo meat. Didn't really get the obsession with aioli (instead of mayo) in Australia but that's as adventurous as it gets with me and food #Sorry #TRLT

replying to @HeidiSiefkas @HeidiSiefkas @coastalspc @BradtGuides A3: Frog dog cat monkey birds octopus eggs, well most anything that has swam or crawled out of the ocean, parts of critters that are better left nameless. #trlt

A3: Our @adrianphillips1 tried some of Ecuador's famous chontacuro grubs while on his travels there. The verdict? Tastes like bacon! #TRLT

Comes from the root of a plant. Tastes like the plant's still growing in the soil.
Still, better than Dr Pepper.

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot I've been told it's the final stomach, but truthfully I have no clue! I just know that Florentines are fiercely proud of this fact. They also sell tripe which is the first or second stomach and it looks a lot different. #TRLT
