A1: under the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, @ClearwellCaves pays tribute to the Freeminers who have worked here for at least 4,500 years. Touring the caverns, especially when you're almost the only people there, is an eerie experience. @CharlesMcCool #TRLT

A1: I loved some of the underground stations in Moscow. Many are modern but there are those that look like this. #TRLT

A1 My favourite underground attraction is Tashkent Metro! It’s a public transport system & art gallery in one, & costs just over $0.10 a ride. #TRLT

A1: One of my most interesting "underground visits" was in, surprisingly, Toronto. The city centre has an entire network of underground passageways with shops, cafes and restaurants, which are a blessing in winter when it's cold outside. I only have photos from the surface #TRLT

A1: This is a hard one to answer. I love the levels of history that Basilica San Clemente in Rome provides (Renaissance, early Christian church, mithraeum, & imperial Rome), but also many catacombs around Europe. #TRLT https://t.co/0bK6wl7TRD

A1: One of my favourite underground attractions is the Ceuvo Pelo de Oro, in Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba. With it's resident bats, tarantulas and pythons it is memorable. Bone fragments from bats covered the top of rocks.

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @CharlesMcCool A1) When I think of an "Underground City" it reminds me of Vancouver's underground in the center of the downtown district. #TRLT

A2: Not all of it's open right now due to Covid etc, but @BigPitMuseum is a fascinating testimony to the Welsh coal mining industry #IndustrialHeritage @LindaPeters64 #TRLT
