#trlt A4: the closest iconic landmark to where I live *now* is probably Hampden Park. But as I've not been past it yet I don't have a pic of it.

Where I lived in Nottinghamshire, a close landmark might have been Newark Castle. At least one King died there, if that counts?

replying to @JLipowski @JLipowski @HeidiSiefkas A4 A couple of miles from my front door is the Bingley Five-Rise Locks on the Leeds Liverpool canal. If it isn't an iconic landmark it should be! #TRLT I recently took my brother there and we saw a couple of boats going through...It is the steepest flight of locks in the UK.

A4: An iconic landmark close to where we live is #Vancouver's famed old Nine O'Clock Gun.
It's been hit by lightning, plugged by rocks, short-circuited, silenced by work stoppages & briefly stolen but has boomed out the time from Stanley Park since 1898.
