replying to @featherytravels @featherytravels Very cool! When it’s original it’s even cooler than reconstructions but those are neat too. Here’s one I visited recently- a reconstructed Mandan village #trlt 🗺: https://t.co/dAmlZM7LvW

A2- When I visited 🇲🇴#Macao, I stayed at the #Venetian. At the time it was the largest casino in the world.

#trlt A2: Where I lived in Nottinghamshire is full of dead coal mines, some of which have extant ruins. Many of these closed within my lifetime.
Pictured are two headstocks from Clipstone, which closed in 2003.
#TRLT The youngest historical site I have visited is the old town in Wroclaw, Poland.
It looks original but 50% of it was destroyed during World War 2 and has since been rebuilt! https://t.co/zXILBYfa9k

@TheTravelCamel A2. Saw a show at the Rialto Theatre in Montreal. Built in the 1920's - a National Historic Site since 1993.

replying to @featherytravels @featherytravels A1 #TRLT totally agree. We dropped into the remains of Duntulm Castle in northern Skye, which apparently has three different ghosts haunting it. Is there a rota?
A2: This isn't a historical site, but it is quite young. They are cobbles in Rome to mark the homes where Jews were rounded up and deported to the camps during the Holocaust. A sobering sight to see that reminds of recent horrors. #TRLT https://t.co/xRZodKChAy
The #Bloomberg office building is one of the newest in #London with amazing views of St Pauls Cathedral but it will go down in history as one of the most expensive #TRLT A2
replying to @HeidiSiefkas @HeidiSiefkas A2) I'm not quite sure but at just over 100 years old John F Kennedy National Historic Site in Brookline Massachusetts might be the youngest historical place I've visited outside of National Memorials. #TRLT
A2: Nur-Sultan is the relatively new (1997) capital of Kazakhstan. The most remarkable modern historical place I've visited. #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel A2. I think it’s historical 🤔 and it’s the youngest place I can think of….the kelpies in Scotland. #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 A2: All-Russian exhibitions center (VDNH) in Moscow, Russia. It was built in 1939 and has representations of all ex-USSR countries in a form of separate museum-like buildings on the property! #TRLT
replying to @RTWBarefoot @travelhistory1 And obviously, they're everywhere there ... #trlt
