A3. These standing stones are the prehistoric Bodach and Cailleach on Gigha (#InnerHebrides surprise, surprise) - thought to represent a man and woman. Similarly to most standing stones around Scotland (and elsewhere), we really don't know how old they are. #trlt

replying to @HeidiSiefkas @HeidiSiefkas A2 I don't know...but the Tashkent Metro was opened in 1977. #TRLT It was only in 2018 that the Uzbek Government allowed tourists to take photos of it.

A3: Estimated to be at least 5,000 years old, Las Geel in Somaliland is home to some of the most impressive rock art anywhere in the world. It comprises about a dozen individual painted shelters that can be seen from miles away! #TRLT

A4: West Wycombe in the #Chilterns. Partly for West Wycombe Park, historic home of the Dashwoods. Also for the spooky HellFire Caves in which (legend says) a baboon leapt on to the shoulders of a terrified Lord Sandwich, who thought it was the Devil! @LindaPeters64 #TRLT

#trlt A4: I used to live in England, which is full of castles. Near where I lived lie Conisbrough, Sandal, & Newark; all were active in the 1400s, & Newark was even important in the 1200s.

Not necessarily much left of some of them, but you just know you're walking in history.

A4:This is Iao Valley, a state historical site. It was a place of Hawaiian royalty as well as a bloody battle. It is a beautiful valley with a fresh water river perfect for a sustainable settlement. via @LindaPeters64 #TRLT #traveltuesday
