A5: Suomenlinna was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1991 as an example of European military architecture of the 18th century. It is one of the most popular landmarks in the Finnish capital. There is also amazing nature and a beautiful bay. #TRLT #UNESCO

A5: I've visited Chichen Itza in #Mexico twice. The first time, I was a teen (and able to climb to the top of the pyramid). The second time was a few months ago, with my teenager and husband. #TRLT #unescoworldheritage

A5. Yes! Independence Hall in Philadelphia. What brought me back? Multiple school trip(s) and/or just walking around Philly! #TRLT

A5: I have seen the Colosseum about 10 times. Rome was the first city I ever visited abroad and I will always love it and return to it. As for the Colosseum, how amazing it is that we can step on the same stones as the Romans, 2000 years ago? #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel
@TheTravelCamel @RTWBarefoot I'd say Keoladeo National Park in Bharatpur #Rajasthan. I've hardly seen any tourists, especially no westerners.

A5: Had a return visit to the incredible Saqqara in Egypt. Easy to return especially with new areas being opened to the public. #TRLT

A5. I'm eternally drawn to Mexico and have been to Teotihuacan many times for retreats. Still so much more to discover across the different regions. Merida is in the works. #TRLT

A5: a UNESCO site that I have more than once? Yellowstone National Park where it's spellbinding natural beauty
beckons me back.

A5: Venice; I've been twice, and much as I love it, doubt I will go back. It needs time to heal. (Hopefully, it will be able to.) #TRLT

Berlin 🇩🇪:
Museumsinsel (Museum Island):
so many museums, so many exhibitions, so little time.
I adopted Berlin as 1 of 3 hometowns in the country. Below is the Alte Nationalgalerie.

replying to @HeidiSiefkas @HeidiSiefkas @WorldwideXplore I visit Paris often, thanks to living nearby. I also live within striking distance of lots of UNESCO sites in SW France - Bordeaux, St Emilion, The Abbey of St Savin, The French Compostela route etc. Very lucky to be surrounded by these places! #TRLT

replying to @JLipowski @JLipowski @WorldwideXplore A5) Oh yeah, numerous times. For example I've been to both Grand Canyon & Yosemite National Parks so many times that I've lost count. #TRLT

A5 Havana #Cuba is my # 1 answer. Why? I couldn’t understand it. Then, I started leading tours there. It is opening up in Nov. I’d highly suggest a visit or tees via @worldwidexplore #TRLT #traveltuesday

A3: Not the answer you were going for probably, but what has struck me over the years is the varying level of protection & deference given to the various sites.
