Q1: Why do you like visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites? @junkkdna @charlesmccool #TRLT
A1: They combine the best of natural and man-made heritage (I love both equally). Svaneti, Georgia, however, offers both: stunning mountain landscapes, medieval villages and tower houses.
A1 #TRLT I like the history behind them. I also like the natural ones & their unique beauty like Ha Long Bay in Vietnam.

A1: I don't travel exclusively to see Unesco sites, so I enjoy every type of places, be it a monument, a town centre or a natural landmark. One of the most recent Unesco sites I visited was Hallstatt–Dachstein - I didn't know it was Unesco before visiting #TRLT
A1 I love visiting @unesco World Heritage Sites knowing that it is a marker of the world’s most extraordinary places, both natural & man made. And Uzbekistan has 5! #TRLT
A1. Different reasons. history, culture, nature! photo: Lake Yellowstone in Yellowstone National Park. #TRLT
A1: I prefer natural or historic places. This is Old #Riga (#Vecrīga), #Latvia. My family origins are close to here, so it has a lot of meaning to me! #UNESCO #TRLT

A1 I like a bit of everything. If I can get a smidge of all is the best. I think #Cuba is one of the best mixed of TODO (all) via @junkkdna @charlesmccool #TRLT #traveltuesday
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @junkkDNA @CharlesMcCool A1. Usually they have a mix of all those aspects which makes them so intriguing! My favorite is when they are least crowded. In the US, some national parks are also designated as UNESCO like Glacier NP 🗺: https://t.co/BzbaUXB50P #TRLT

I've visited 272 of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There are some obvious ones but there are plenty of less well known ones like #Evora which are worth the effort to see out #TRLT A1

My absolute favourite one is Kurskaya Kosa (I saw it in Kaliningrad, the most western part of Russia). It was so long ago and I don't have any pics left. This is a google image #TRLT
