UNESCO site Bahla fort along with the Beehive tombs in the deserts of #Oman had no one there when I visited. #TRLT A2

I like visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites (WHS) to learn about new places and human contributions to history. I prefer historical and cultural WHS, but will say 'yes' to natural WHS.

A2: The least visited UNESCO World Heritage Site we have visited is the Western Tian Shan near #Shymkent in #Kazakhstan. We love this quite and beautiful place because it is so untouched and feels still undiscovered. via @RTWBarefoot #TRLT

A2: I'm going to throw in the Archaeological Landscape of the First Coffee Plantations in the South-East of Cuba, mainly bc Cuba's become pretty difficult to visit. These are the foundations of slave quarters. It's a haunted, quiet, sad place. #TRLT

Q2. In the UK the least visited #UNESCO World Heritage site is probably the Scottish archipelago of St Kilda. It's pretty remote and not at all easy to visit but it is undoubtedly a very special place even by Western Isles standards #TRLT #Scotland #islands
