A3: visiting UNESCO World Heritage Site, Fort Langley, B.C., I learned it's known as the birthplace of British Columbia, Canada. Built in 1827, as a Hudson’s Bay Company fur trading post, on the Fraser River & once part of a trade route for the British Empire.
