replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @ramblRramblR A1 Mountains, canyons, glaciers, volcanoes, fjords, caves, geysers, hot springs – all of these geographic sites are equally stunning to me 😍 #trlt
The Pacific Ring of fire in #NewZealand and #Vanuatu is mother nature at her most destructive and spectacular #TRLT A2
A2: I have so many but the Grand Canyon is one. However, the Grand Canyon of #Hawaii is also wonderful - Waimea Canyon #Kauai via @LindaPeters64 #TRLT

A2. So many to choose from, I might have to have a multi-part answer. Trotternish on Skye is particularly spectacular. #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @ramblRramblR #TRLT a1 we are fortunate to see Mt. Rainier on a daily basis in the distance ^ love when we make the trip to Mt. Rainier for great hikes. A little over 2 hours from us here in central WA State. I wonder how the mtns are so majestic and breathtaking, especially to new visitors!

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @ramblRramblR Thanks, #TRLT hosts! Quite a planet we have here, so many kinds of landscape features! replying to @HeidiSiefkas @HeidiSiefkas @LindaPeters64 A2) A special geographical area is Yosemite National Park partly because it was a mystery on how it was formed until a non-geologist, John Muir figured it out. #TRLT
A2. I've climbed Ben More on Mull a couple of times, but this day 'researching for my book' was rather special. Not sure if I strictly needed to climb it again, but it was a good excuse. #TRLT #InnerHebrides
replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @LindaPeters64 A2: Well I suppose I can't only answer with Canadian mountains so one of my faves is Antelope Canyon in Arizona. 😍 I especially love that you can only visit with Navajo run tours. #TRLT
A2 sticking with the desert theme, the sand dunes of the Simpson Desert are a geological wonder. 1,140 live dunes culminating in Big Red at 40m high

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 #TRLT a2 - we love all the monolithic rock formations, especially on the Oregon coast. Cannon Beach's Haystack Rock is a must, and this one just south at Arch Cape is another fav. We never tire of walking the coastline.
