Happy Anniversary #TRLT! Maria's joining from Billings MT where I don't think there are any #islands but here's one of my favorite pics from #StJohn #USVI #virginislands
A1: I love visiting island with a strong cultural or historical basis - such as Norfolk Island near Australia and New Zealand. #TRLT
A1 The British Isles are many - the old phrase 'our island story' is very misleading! Visiting Anglesey, the Isle of Wight, Jersey, Orkney or any other British island uncovers a fascinating mix of mainland/island #history and influences @LindaPeters64 #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @JLipowski @RTWBarefoot @LindaPeters64 @pip_says @Touchse I’m just waking up in #maui #hawaii - I can’t believe it’s November already nor our #trlt 8th birthday. #traveltuesday
A1 This is Maui with view of Lanai last winter, which is humpback whale season. via @LindaPeters64 #TRLT #traveltuesday
A1 #TRLT There are many types of islands & for me, I’m probably there for something specific. Manhattan in NYC is actually an island & I wanted to see it during the holidays which the pics will show.
#TRLT A1: hm. Some islands are very big .... Like, I live on one!
But. But. Ugh. It depends how I feel. But I think of islands in general as places to 'get away' from my everyday life I guess, maybe? So somewhere quieter.
[These pics are taken when I hiked in Orkney Mainland.]
A1 We love Seaside Charm! St Bart was such a great island to spend the day walking around, shopping, and just relaxing. What a great trip! #Stbart #islandlife #islands #traveltuesday #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A1: I love traveling through forests to get to hamlets and villages when hiking on islands such as Corsica. #TRLT
replying to @HeidiSiefkas @HeidiSiefkas @LindaPeters64 A1. Why pick one when you can have it all? Island countries or states come to mind like Japan, UK, Hawaii, Azores, Iceland, Indonesia. Never run out of things to do and can still go to the beach! #TRLT 📸: https://t.co/LyCAwCOMOD
