A2 #TRLT Bermuda had a really laid back, friendly feel. I don’t think I’ve been anywhere else in the world where everyone on the street says hello to you.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CharlesMcCool A2 The Azores archipelago where volcanoes play a prominent role. (eg, cozido is a stew cooked in volcanic steam on Sao Miguel.) This photo was taken on Graciosa where I wandered through lava tunnels. This goat traipsed through the lava scape. #TRLT

A2 St Maarten was filled with all cultures! It’s Caribbean, french and dutch with tourists sprinkled in. Once we figured out how to navigate all the accents, we had a wonderful time! #islandlife #trlt #stmartin #sintmaarten #frenchwestindies #dutchwestindies #traveltuesday

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @CharlesMcCool A2: I would be remiss for not saying New Zealand - where I grew up! I had the privilege of speaking Te Reo Maori as a child, and learning about the indigenous peoples of Aotearoa. An honour to have grown up there with that influence! #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CharlesMcCool A2: eh em ;-) I'm biased, very biased. I'm going to say The Caribbean Islands. The culture from island to island is so different. Each had different indigenous people & multiple conquerors and immigrants over the years. It's music, dance, food, language, colors, complexions #TRLT

A2. The more I visit the Scottish Western Isles the more I want to return. Interesting people and culture, certainly, but also wildlife, history and the most gorgeous scenery. This is Harris but there many more to choice from. #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @CharlesMcCool A2. I loved Sicily. They have their own culture, chocolate, food, wine that's different from the mainland. Plus it's been a strategic base for many cultures throughout history. #trlt
