replying to @ramblRramblR @ramblRramblR @TheTravelCamel Yeah, definitely. I like a proper viewpoint. So many other views are obscured by the treeline. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @ramblRramblR I was very puffed out when I got to the top, I didn’t take into account the amount of stairs we’d need to climb! 🤦🏽♀️ #TRLT
replying to @SGSwritereditor @SGSwritereditor @TheTravelCamel @ConciergeQ Always love when you can see the CN Tower in a hotel room! #TRLT
replying to @HeidiSiefkas @HeidiSiefkas @featherytravels @junkkDNA Where is this? #TRLT
A2 #TRLT I don’t have pictures available at the moment, but @RockyNPS at 12,000 feet was probably the highest place I have been.
replying to @SKJtraveler @SKJtraveler haha #trlt awww maybe you'd prefer the Norfolk Coast Path? 84 miles, highest point about 207 feet .... :D
replying to @TravelAtWill @TravelAtWill Trail Ridge is almost 12,200 feet elevation, I'm not sure what Kingston is, but well above tree line. 🙂 #TRLT
replying to @ramblRramblR @ramblRramblR @TheTravelCamel Book tickets in advance 😊 and wear sensible shoes and be prepared to climb a lot of stairs 😂 #TRLT

A2: The highest point I've been was the Ak-Baital pass on the Pamir Highway in Tajikistan. It is 4,655 metres (15,272 feet). This was taken in summer. #TRLT
replying to @sl2016_sl @sl2016_sl @ramblRramblR You did much better than me - well done on getting to the top. #TRLT

A2: 4,635 meters, crossing the Salkantay Pass. I don't have a photo handy as my entire Peru album is an on old hard drive for which I don't have the cable handy, so I'll share a stock picture. It was the hardest trek I have ever done #TRLT
replying to @HeidiSiefkas @HeidiSiefkas @ramblRramblR @TheTravelCamel @JLipowski @RTWBarefoot @LindaPeters64 @pip_says We sure loved our 2+ months travelling around the west coast this year. But time to head home. #TRLT

replying to @ramblRramblR @ramblRramblR @grousemountain @MyVancouver @HelloBC Definitely an iconic viewpoint in Metro Vancouver. #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @featherytravels @junkkDNA A2 Hmmm I think it was when I was 10,000 feet up Mount Kenya in ... wait for it ... Kenya #TRLT
#trlt a2: I don't have pics of it here as they're all physical (and therefore 260 miles away) but the highest I've been is 'a shade under 4,000m', in Sichuan Province, China, when I was on a tour there in September 2002.
I don't *think* I've ever breached 4km.

@TheTravelCamel Most Scottiish footpaths I've been on have been much milder, and even that steep section on the WHW was a two-off. Two short steep sections in 96 miles isn't too bad bearing in mind it's full of mountains.

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot 207 feet sounds about my pace but 84 miles? Eegads. If somebody will roll a keg alongside me, maybe I could do it in a summer, hahaha. #TRLT
replying to @HeidiSiefkas @HeidiSiefkas @featherytravels @junkkDNA A2) Not sure if my trip into the Andes in Chile were the highest elevation that I've ever been to though the view was certainly one of the best I've seen. #TRLT

replying to @biggsytravels @biggsytravels @EmmaStoddard All those 'edges' (like Bamford, Curbat, and Stanage), every time I walk past them, there's always groups of mountaineers and boulderers and abseilers having fun on the cliffs. #trlt Not my scene, so good luck :)
A2: Dead Woman's Pass along the Inca Trail ... where I almost died, haha. Over 14,000 feet, can't remember exact height. Loved the experience for the scenery but the altitude sickness wasn't very fun. Pic back in the days of film cameras and basic scanners. #TRLT
#trlt A2: another place I reached into the high 3ks though was Kyrgysztan. Although I overnighted at Song-Kol at only 3200 ish, we crossed a mountain pass that reached 3700m.
