replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A3: I like alpine skiing a lot and visited many times in the Alps. Sestriere in Italy has been my favourite place so far. #TRLT
replying to @aok_NW @aok_NW @ArchesNPS That reminds me of surprise snow at Zion NP which looked cool against the red rocks. And other surprise snow at Glacier NP! In the fall I guess snow should not surprise you! Can be warm one day and snow the next. #trlt 🗺: https://t.co/oHdxDfOg5o
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill A2. I just love *being* in ice and snow. Even on the east coast of Scotland it’s a relative novelty, and I want to spend ever second I can slipping and sliding in it. #TRLT
A4: Seeing a portion of river in Finnish Lapland that still flowed in temperatures heading beyond -20 Celsius whereas every other waterway was frozen. #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A3 Struggling along the dual carriageway from Bingley to Keighley to get to the courier for the Covid infection study on Sunday. I couldn't see the road through the blizzard. #TRLT This was the car park waiting to see if the courier made it.
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CaitlinKellyNYC A4: I found these fantastical sculptures of Marcel Gagnon in the village of Sainte Flavie in the Quebec Maritime region. Some of the sculptures appear and disappear with the tide. #TRLT
A4 We were very surprised to find snow when we went up in a cable car above the desert in Palm Springs! The locals though seemed prepared. https://t.co/vvzB22gtaN #TRLT @pip_says @Touchse @caitlinkellyNYC
Pickup hockey better known as 'shinny" on frozen lakes and rivers. I love this photo taken by my better half on the frozen Ottawa River. It says it all. the agony of defeat. #TRLT #iceAndsnow
A4 #TRLT My NYE trip to NYC, it was a freezer. 15F in the middle of the afternoon. One morning it felt a little warmer. I looked out the window & it was snowing. I couldn’t help but to note the irony, snow warmed everything up.
#trlt A4: not *unusual* (insomuch as I rarely see snow), but the setting of this pic makes it look pretty unusually stunning I think, with the blue sky and a frozen river. It's ... Gdansk, Poland, at about -15°C.
replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @CaitlinKellyNYC A4: Flying over Greenland. I was flying over from Europe. It's so amazing'y beautiful. #TRLT @visitgreenland #Greenland
A4: one of the most unusual experiences that I've had with ice or snow was listening to the eerie noise, as the ice expanded or contracted with temperature changes, in ice floes along B.C.'s mighty Fraser River.

Pop-up ice fishing villages on frozen rivers and lakes are popular finds in Canada every winter. #TRLT #iceANDsnow
A4 When we hit snow on a road trip, the trucks all chaining up were an unusual sight for me! #TRLT @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 @JLipowski @heidiSiefkas @pip_says @Touchse @caitlinkellyNYC
A4. A few years ago, it would NOT stop snowing in Sun Valley, Idaho! The snow was so high, if you looked out the window of our home, all you could see was white for months. Our dog (seen here on what was the porch) would simply walk over our 12 foot fence! #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A3. I remember emerging from my hotel on the Isle of Skye after a blizzard and setting off into the untouched morning snow. The ordinary became the extraordinary overnight. #TRLT
